When your mother leaves this world... and you don't believe in another one.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna bore you with any existential or philosophical thoughts...

I'm just gonna show you mom's ring, the latest of many I have made for her over the years. She got a jade from a dear friend, and cherished the stone. She did not care wether it was real or not, expensive or not, she just wanted to wear it around her finger. 

It was clumpy and uneven and had no easy setting possibilities, but it was pretty! So I made this simple sterling silver design. I really enjoyed making it!

Now the ring is mine... and I've been wearing it every day!
