Here are 3 exhibition rings from the "No More Silence" series.

Illusion rings with a sharp message!

I showed 2 of these rings at the Artistar Jewels exhibition during the Milano Jewelry Week in October 2023, "Silence is not always golden 1 & 2”. There were around 850 pieces in the exhibition by 240 artists from around the world and I won an award! One of 25 winners.... WOW!🤗😉 Talk about my message being noticed!

And as a result I showed "Silence is not always golden 2” and “Silence is not golden", together with 18 other rings, in Rome at Galleria Carlo Lucidi in spring 2024! These rings are now back and those not yet sold are on the web-shop!

Here’s hoping these rings keep starting conversations!

At first glance they seem like a geometrically inspired design-rings, and they are...

But when you look closer you will find "FUCK RACISM" stamped on each! Most obvious on ring 3 "Silence is not golden" where the message is stamped on the “exposed” silver strips and therefore easy to see. And on rings "Silence is not always golden 1 & 2” you will find the message written under the translucent precious stones and therefore a bit more subtle.

I cannot stay silent! Discrimination, oppression and racism are unfortunately on the rise everywhere you look nowadays! And as an artist, I can try to raise awareness with my art, and make an important statement.

The stones are aquamarine and lapis lazuli. All three have aquamarine, a dreamy sky-blue translucent precious stone. Ring 1 also has a lapis lazuli, a beautiful black and gold-speckled cobalt blue precious stone. 

All three are made of solid sterling silver and rings 1 & 2 have a 23K gold setting around the stones.

They geometric design is inspired by my old school bench, where I, besides picking it up from home, first learned tolerance and respect.

Here I put a bunch of pictures.

In the first one, "Silence is not always golden 2”, the stone looks like it is "floating" between your fingers, and the message is amplified because the aquamarine is cut in such a way that makes the message (that I wrote twice under it), look like it is written 4 times!

In picture 7 of ring "Silence is not always golden 1”, the lapis "floats" between your fingers while the big square aquamarine with its message, covers another finger.

And in picture 4 of ring "Silence is not golden ”, both stone and silver strips "float" between your fingers. 

The rings are very comfortable to wear.
