NO more silence series Screaming DECENCY RESPECT. Matted light red & silver.

From the NO more silence series, DECENCY RESPECT is part of a story commenting today’s society seen through my eyes. 

You wear it on one finger but it covers three fingers! Hard to miss! A hand-piece and hopefully a conversation starter!

Watching people who can’t talk to each other with decency and respect anymore. And wishing they would. Hoping my pieces will start conversations and that can lead to a better world... The audacity of hope!

With this series I am expressing my hopes that people who disagree stop ignoring each other and living in their own bubbles. And instead listen, watch and learn from each other. And say something when they encounter injustice.

With this series I want to express my frustration by screaming out a few of my wishes like equality peace and respect! Humanity and human rights!

With the DECENCY RESPECT ring I am screaming for everyone to show each other decency and respect even when arguing!

It is made of matte red figurine screaming the handmade words DECENCY and RESPECT.

DECENCY RESPECT wants you to treat everyone as equal, everyone deserves respect until proven otherwise. 

The ring is a 3D scanned, 3D printed in SLS plastic and the words are hand-made in solid sterling silver.

Information about the rings

This series is made of figurines screaming words and symbols.

I express my frustration by screaming out a few of my wishes like equality peace and respect!

The figurines are 3D scanned, 3D printed in SLS plastic and painted in shiny red, shiny orange and matte-red.

The symbols are in hand-cut metals. The metals used are recycled sterling silver and scrap leftover pieces of copper and titanium. 

In this case of 3D printed plastics and nylons, I used SLS polyamide. It is considered safe since the natural raw material comes from castor beans. The company that prints them cleans and reprocesses a part of the powder from previous printing sessions.

I am also working hard at finding an eco-friendlier and more sustainable substitute to print.

BTW this one has DECENCY and RESPECT and there is another one that has RESPECT and DECENCY... which ones do you like best?
