Ring with a sharp message!

One of my 2 award winning rings from the Artistar Jewels exhibition at Milano Jewelry Week 2023!

At first glance it appears to be an elegant, geometrically inspired design-ring, and it is...

But when you look closer you will find a piercing message stamped under the stone.

"Silence is not always golden 2”, is a two-finger illusion ring where the stone, an aquamarine, looks like it is "floating" between your fingers, and the message is amplified because it is cut in such a way that makes the message (that I wrote twice under it), look like it is written 4 times!

I am so happy that my message was noticed at such a big event, and out more than 240 artists in the exhibition, I was one of few who received an award! 

The message I wrote says "FUCK RACISM"

I cannot stay silent! Discrimination, oppression and racism are unfortunately on the rise everywhere you look nowadays! And as an artist, all I can do is try to raise awareness with my art and depict an important statement.

WEAR IT and make the statement YOUR OWN!

And here’s hoping these rings keep starting conversations like they did in Milan and Rome!

"SILENCE IS NOT ALWAYS GOLDEN 2" materials and design:

The ring is very comfortable to wear. It is handmade of solid sterling silver with a 23K gold setting around the aquamarine. Aquamarine is a dreamy sky-blue translucent precious stone, that allows the message under it to be seen. The stone I 10 mm high including the setting.

They geometric design is inspired by my old school bench, where I, besides picking it up from home, first learned about tolerance and respect.

This ring is a cocktail ring! If you wish to wear it every day, please wear it carefully.

I will send along a jewelry cloth to carefully wipe it with.

PLEASE do not use any alcohol or ammoniac-based products and do not rub it with abrasive materials such as scrubs or brushes.

If you keep it out for long without wearing it, it might tarnish as silver does.

If it gets too tarnished, it is always best to have a trained jeweler do the job!
