My 2024 Award winning choker NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE (2/2)

I took part of the Artistar Jewels in Milan this year too.

And I won an award this year again!! WOW! I am so glad that my messages are reaching people! And I am so thankful to all those who came up to me during awarding and the opening nights and wanted to give their support!

Sometimes a contrast between style and message is needed to grab attention. Like this choker I made by upcycling an old collection updated with a comment on today’s difficut issues. A mix of two worlds. A pretty design. A loud message.

It’s a big and colorful choker/necklace, decorated with a long detachable “tail” that hangs on the back and a clear message on the clasp in the front!

 Read it, think about it. And engage in fruitful discussions. Everybody is a winner if we can talk to each other with respect and decency.

The choker is made of silver and aluminum.  Please see below for material and size information.

I made  this choker in despair.

The exhibition was coming up. Time was running out and I was so stressed I couldn't work! I couldn't draw! 

I was so discouraged and in pain because of what's happening in the middle east and how the world was watching and not able to do anything. Some were trying but they were being falsely accused of obstruction and violence. 

I have always worked with symbols, lately obvious ones, figurative and visible. So I decided I would go even further this time, if I were to make anything, and so I made two big chokers that no-one can miss! And with a message that is in your face... 

I thought I was going to be criticised or even worse, ignored... but I won an award! 

Thank you for noticing my message and for taking it to heart! It feels so much better to have made them and to have had sooo many people see them in Milan! 

Now they are back home and for sale. Here's hoping for them to find a nice home of their own! ❤️

WEAR THIS CHOKER AND MAKE A STATEMENT OF PEACE!

Materials and size:

The big round shaped clasp is removable and made of solid sterling silver. 

It holds the message:

NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE. NOT IN MY NAME. 

The chains are made of small round shaped tubes of colored and anodised aluminum and many sterling silver rings. They are changeable and the clasp can be used with another necklace if it has the right rings on the ends! 

The choker part is 5.5 cm wide. It fits a top-neck size of 36 cm flaring down to 41 cm at the bottom.

But the choker part can also be worn upside down and it will fit a neck size from 37 to 44 cm. 

And remember, it is interchangeable so you can hook it to another chain combination of your liking... at almost any length.

The detachable tail is attached with 3 silver Lamia logo clasps and has a total of 50,5 cm length. And if you so wish, the choker can be used without it.
